I once got a bag of ketchup chips in Minnesota.

When she was about eight or nine, my sister used to pour ketchup on a plate and dip chips in it.

And vinegar on fries? Gravy, I can understand (Had that and it's good, actually).

 

I love malt vinegar on fries and I'm not from the great white north. I like it on breaded chicken, too.

I too, used to dip potato chips in ketchup as a child. Michael's potato chips. Heinz ketchup.

 

Cider vinegar ... yum ... that's what the Newfies like on their fries, dressing and gravy.

 

Best thing to have with fries? MAYO!!!!

 

When I worked at Burger King many moons ago, I used to sneak french fries and dip them in the hot fudge sauce that was meant for the ice cream sundaes. Yummy.

 

These last two posts saved me the trouble of fixing lunch.

 

Poutine is the best thing that can be done with fries. I don't believe that's an arguable fact.

 

Poutine sounds like a slang term for something much better to eat
