Oft-troubled former Net Jayson Williams hurt in car accident

Forgive if this is a D_B, but it appears Jayson Williams was hurt in an early morning car accident.

The guy really could have used a driver. Is that irony?

I'll add this: Nice move by the officers to take Williams to Bellevue to have his head examined. That's what he probably has needed all along.

Also, I'm not sure about a driver, but Elin Nordegren stands ready with an unspecified golf club. For another of her Luxury SUV Greatest Hits.

 

Police found Williams in the passenger seat. He said someone else was driving. But no one else was in the car.

Must have been his imaginary friend.

 

Go to jail, go directly to jail and bend over ...

 

I'm shocked that this guy isn't dead. Not exactly a quiet post-retirement life, that's for sure.

 

ironic for me, in that I've been reading his 2000 book, Loose Balls.
Williams has indeed been a participant in some troubling incidents.
