I wish he'd hurry up and break it so both sides of the argument would STFU.

I think Bonds used something, but so did a lot of people. No different than the greenies that were commonplace during Aaron's era or the spitballing pitchers before that. Stretching or breaking the rules has always been a part of baseball. Big freaking deal.

And A-Rod will hold it in turn until Phat Albert flies past him.

He also hasn't homered in Minnesota. In 2003, the Twins travelled to San Francisco, and when the Twins played in the Metrodome in 2005, Barry didn't play in any games.

Fenway became the 36th park Bonds has homered in. (And, interestingly, Bonds, Aaron and Ruth have all now homered at the Fens. Off the top of my head, I'd have to guess that Yankee Stadium is the only other place all three have homered. I'm pretty sure those are the only two. And they may even be the only two where all three played.)

As of right now, with no mandates handed down by MLB, Bonds is a lock for the Hall. Even if he is found guilty of foul play, beyond what'd been reported, unless Selig or the governing body hands down a lifetime ban from the game, I still believe Bonds is in.

I don't like the guy, but he was a hall-of-fame player before 1998. It's just a shame he felt it was necessary to look for added help.

Buck, Wrigley doesn't count. Minor league stadiums don't qualify.

In any case, welcome to SportsJournalists.com Mr. Cheer Up Emo Kid. Nice bit of trivia and clarification. Now get yourself a better screen name.

Aaron is no longer a sympathetic figure. His petulance in not showing up for his record falling is unforgiveable, especially from someone who had to endure racism and death threats in 1974. Hey, Hank, take a lesson in class from the Maris family during the 1998 season.

You're right. It's not home to the world's greatest fans.

    It's there for posterity now.

By the way, I still say I look good in that American flag head covering.

The mullet suits you. You might think about some better sunglasses, though.
