$9K for the game? Was the buyer on crack?

Mike, don't you think dad should have given kid a toilet snake?

A "pot"ential problem with having parents of this generation.

In the 60s and 70s, if your parents found your pot, they likely took it away and flushed it down the toilet.

Today, if your parents find your pot, they will likely take it away and smoke it.

A friend of mine and his son spent about two years restoring a truck, a father-son project they enjoyed.

Son received the truck when he was 16, with provision that any drinking and driving would result in the truck being sold immediately. The son then would be shuttled to events by mom and dad.

Friday night phone call, a high school dance, the son is there plastered with his pals. Father goes and picks him up.

The next morning, the father takes the keys and title to the local breakfast shop.

"I have a vehicle for sale. Here are the details, the keys and the title."

He walked out with about $2,700.

  8. But the kid didn't drink and drive. Or am I misunderstanding the story?

But wait, the kid didn't drive. He called the dad to come pick him up. Should that count?

(Or did the call come from the school principal?)

There had been drinking and driving, yes.

Other parents called, not the kid.

He'd have made his money back on the sale, but gotten crushed on the shipping
