    This is not a good year for Navy to win in this series If there is such a thing). ND is awful but the Middies might have their worst defense in many a fall.

    Hypothetical here: Suppose Weis bolts after this season or gets canned after a one-win year. Who's going to be on the short list to replace him? Just curious.

    Does Weis have a nickname yet? AKA - the Big Albatross? Watching some of the ESPN college football coverage and it sounds like there is a lot of disatisfaction with program among players, with about a dozen having left in the last two years.

    If Weis left I think they be lucky to get Shiano, Rodriguez or maybe even coach Fran. The Irish will take 8-4 season.
