How come I see these attempts weekly about newspapers and journalists?
How about the goddamn automakers?
Or the asshole bankers?
Or the mother fuckers on Wall Street who leveraged, then bet on the leverage?

Journalists haven't taken one dime of tax-payer money. Yet, we're held in more contempt than industries that will cost our children's children a trillion dollars.

Yeah but boy oh boy, wait til we keep the blogs coming and the citizen journalist stories and the cool newspaper videos and podcasts on the Websites. Yeah people are really going to flock to those, you just wait and see.
Gannett will be the leader when all their newspapers go online only ... you just wait and see all those photo galleries that people will love to look at and advertisers will just love them.

Newspapers cut their staffs to shit ... reduced page counts to shit. Of course nobody wants a fucking newspaper anymore. But boy will they want our Websites and all that cool stuff on them. Just wait.
