Not NASCAR, but...

  1. I know there are probably many of you out there who wind up covering some local dirt track racing and maybe a World of Outlaws show here and there so this might interest you. The "split" in the top level sprint car world is over as Steve Kinser and Danny Lasoski have announced plans to race with the World of Outlaws again. Kinser is a 20-time series champion and Lasoski won the 2001 title when he was driving for Tony Stewart. A lot of people tried to compare this to the CART-IRL mess, but this "split" lasted only one season.

Now, if Champ Car would finally give up trying to limp along in front of 8,000 people in downtowns out of spite and reunite IndyCar racing, we'd be all well and good.
