    NYT magazine did a piece on this phenomenon a few weeks back.

    The writer makes the point that it renders the original movie unwatchable because every time Bruno Ganz is on the screen all you can think about is the goofy YouTube vids.

    I managed to get a usable copy of the clip, but can't crop the bottom to ditch the subtitles or get rid of them altogether...
    Maybe I can in the next week...
