Norm MacDonald. Courtney Thorne-Smith. Ten years later, finally on YouTube.

It's the stuff of legend, and it's been mentioned on this board many times (usually by BYH), but the video clip was unavailable until this month.

I remember watching this the night it aired. I don't think Conan has ever laughed harder than he does at the end.

It starts slowly, but picks up steam at about the 3:30 mark. The next four minutes are nothing short of comedy gold.

 

She gets better looking the older she gets.

 

Goddamn that's funny. When Norm said the line about the movie title, Conan completely lost it.

 

Holy shit, that is funny.

 

I like the line from Courtney: "It's like 9-1/2 Weeks, but Carrot Top."

 

"Chairman of the Board."

"Do something with that, freak!"

"B-o-r-e-d?"

Absolutely hysterical.

 

It's actually been up for almost two months, but that doesn't make it any less hilarious.

I remember watching that Conan the night it first aired, too -- some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen.

Normtradamus knew of what he spoke: Chairman of the Board cost $10,000,000 to produce and took in the grand sum of $306,000; it is also among imdb's 20 worst reviewed movies, and the guy from Mystery Science Theater called it the fifth worst comedy of all time, right behind It's Pat.

Pride, son. Pride.

Norm is so good as a late-show guest, because he refuses to take the interview remotely seriously. He was on Carson Daly once -- wish I could find that one on Youtube -- and completely threw Daly off.
