Mike Pelfrey through five, against the Nats.
I'm breaking my rule by two innings in hopes of jinxing this thing. Will delete once the Nats get a hit.
But can you imagine if Mike Pelfrey - MIKE PELFREY - gets the Mets' first no-hitter?

If Don Larsen can throw a perfect game, how hard can a no-hitter be?

Nope, was waiting for 6 to post this myself. I do not believe in jinxes.

After 7,358 games without a no-hitter, it's about time the Mets got one. Why not the Gnats?
