    I'm pulling against the Mariners.

    NO-HIT ALERT! NO-HIT ALERT!

  4. It's not Russ Ortiz. It's Ramon Ortiz who pitches for the Twins.

Ah, so it's your fault he gave up the one hit. Got it.

Regardless, a one-hit win by Felix, taking into account history, is stellar if you're an M's fan. Or NYY fan (all those BoSox haters).

I was at the M's-Red Sox game tonight. Cold as shit sitting in the Fens, but Hernandez made the Sox bats look even colder. secretly I was hoping to see a no-hitter, since I was there in 2002 for Derek Lowe's.

Anyway, Hernandez was throwing 96 mph in the eighth inning. Even from the centerfield bleachers, you could see his ball moving down on his hard sliders. Perhaps I'm not paying attention, but I haven't heard all that much on him...but he was impressive tonight.

Or tired of hearing about Dice-K. Who knew he wouldn't be the story tonight?

John Maine with a no-no through six innings for the Mets. He's thrown 85 pitches, walked four and struck out six. He also has an 8-0 lead.

How many no-hitter alert threads do we need? :)
