    Both through six.

Has there ever been two on one day?

You need to edit the thread title, Pringle -- Ben Sheets is PERFECT through six against the Pirates. ::)

Yes, there have been two in one day before. Dave Stewart had one of them, I think. Can't remember the other. Fernando?

    Johnny is right, Fernando.

Dear Ben: I could have used this last week in the NIAFL playoffs. Bastard!

I was on desk around that time. Seems to me there were a string of no-hitters and flirtations with perfect games then. I remember one day planning the section and leaving a hole for a fifth story -- "tonight's no-hitter," I said.

Sure enough, we had one that night. Might have even been not long after the Stewart-Valenzuela double dip.

Garcia went 3-1 on Vlad. I couldn't decide whether I wanted him to just put him on and forget the perfect game and preserve the no-hitter, or groove one and at least give himself a chance.

    Moot point now.

Garcia threw ball four to Vlad, which of course he swung at.

    I hate the Angels offense.
