    Nurses have to be very flat. If they got hysterical every time someone was dying, especially in an end-of-life type of facility, they'd be ineffective at their jobs.

    Now I'm wondering why the facility has a nurse on duty if nurses aren't allowed to perform emergency medical care. So she can tell someone they have a rash? I would think an occasionally on-call doctor/nurse would do the job as effectively.

    Yes, there is no middle ground between a rash and CPR.
