Put all discussions of the upcoming release of the NL MVP vote here.

Here is a breakdown of what each baseball writer and personality at ESPN believes the MVP will be...

I don't know who has BBWA votes, but to my knowledge, I can count 5 writers who I think have votes will be picking Rollins and not too many picked Holliday.

It's going to be a very close vote.

    HERE ARE THE RESULTS:

    Rollins wins.

Phils have back-to-back MVPs ... and no playoff wins to show for it.

    Of interest:

    Rollins got a fifth-place vote
    Holliday got a sixth-place vote
    Wright got a second-place vote
    Fielder got five first-place votes
Carlos Marmol got a 10th-place vote

I read a story about some little old lady who is this incredible Phillies fan, and when she had to meet one player, she chose Rollins.

I can't help but think of her today. I'm guessing this made her day.

I'll try to find the story online.

I wonder who voted Rollins fifth. That would be a ballot I would like to see. Add to that the ballot where Holliday went sixth, we would have ourselves a hootinany.

Jose Reyes narrowly misses out, finishing 16th with 16 votes.

So yesterday ESPN had wall-to-wall live A-Rod wins coverage. Today, we're 17 minutes past the NL announcement and it's not even on the dotcom yet.
