UConn did not get a NIT bid.

And the one thing we know for sure is BYH's Pride (what little there is of it) will be serverely battered tonight.

I gotta tell you, Blitz, I'm shocked/stunned/amazed/floored/bewildered that you picked Mississippi State.

But props for picking the little guy, Austin Peay State, in the other side. My mom went to school there for a coupla years. And lived to tell about it.

I'm enjoying all the Providence love.
W.Virginia dropped 17 3s on that group? Bradley should get at least 15 on 'em and might challenge for 20.

Sorry dude. I didn't even start it until AFTER the first games had started. I'd like to get you in retroactively just for the hair pie shot from earlier today. :D

    Updates coming soon!

    Standings after day one:

    Linotype 6 pts
    McNuggets Man 6 pts
    BYH 5 pts
    Angola 4 pts
    Crimsonace 4 pts
    Blitz 4 pts
    TheSportsPredictor 4 pts

I'm finished thanks to Drexel's first round exit. Angola and Crimsonace also had the Dragons in the Final Four, meaning this is probably already a four-horse race.

Updates to come later tonight or tomorrow!

    Fuck you shithead!!!!!

It's better to be in the Not Invited Tournament than to not be invited at all. Why don't you and the other high-powered alums pony up some $$$ to get Kevin Bannon back. SHITHEAD!!!!!

Standings at the end of the first round:

    Linotype 13 pts
    BYH 10 pts
    Angola 10 pts
    Crimsonace 10 pts
    Blitz 9 pts
    TheSportsPredictor 9 pts
    McNuggets Man 9 pts
    Idaho 8 pts

(Forgot to add Idaho earlier; he PMd me his entry last night)

Only one contestant has his Final Four intact: TSP. That makes him the favorite!

Only TSP and Idaho had San Diego State. I don't believe anyone had Marist.

Me, McNuggetsman and Idaho have all lost two Final Four teams (and Idaho and I have lost our champs, stupid mid-major biases) while Angola, Crimsonace, Blitz and Linotype all have lost one Final Four team.

I cannot be any worse in the NCAA pool. right?

I've lost three final four teams. I've gone from favorite to pity case faster than that kid who got trampled when his high school stormed the court. (Yes, I am going to hell. I'll be hanging out with Judas and Brutus.)

    KENTUCKY WOMAN !
(She shines with her own kind of light)/N.Diamond

For sure, State's been the only real constant in this tourney.
While the shit's seemingly hit the fan in every pod listed, State's been the Rock of Gibralter.
    The tried and the true.
Just think, in a week or two, maybe the vicious New York media junket will finally be the ones to call Rick out for bringing his kids to the podium with him.
