Reed was the only Steeler who didn't take the blame for the beatdown at the hand of the Patriots on Sunday night. He blamed field condition, the fans who dared to boo him after missing a 25 yard field goal, along with countless others over the past two seasons, still thought he deserved a big contract next season, and he may be on the fast track to getting one, just not in Pittsburgh. Look out Cincinatti, add another idiot to your roster.

"I just wanted to congratulate Michael on the promotion," said Blank. "He was very humble, very grateful. I've always told him everyone deserves a chance for redemption and this is about his life, not just the football field."

Blank remained in contact by writing an occasional note or letter to Vick during his former quarterback's 18-month prison stay for his involvement in a criminal dogfighting ring.

If he can do that with only 28 attempts, surely someone today will match Norm's record.

Really DeSean Jackson? You played like what?

"We were like pit bulls, ready to get out of the cage," Jackson said, according to the Associated Press, after catching one of Vick's four touchdown passes.

The guy's a former college student (UC Berkeley, top 2 public university in country), how could he say that???

Wait correction, he was a pseudo/pretend student at UC Berkeley who has the ability to run and catch that only .0001% of the world's population has. What do you expect?

Pro athletes are phenomenal at the athletic endeavor they get paid to perform; that's it. Why people give substance to their innermost thoughts is idiotic.
