Harris and Mitchell have 25,000 rushing and receiving yards in the NFL combined.

Can that be topped?

 

Shit what about Jon Kitna and Roy Williams, more importantly Kitna. If they can't trade him to the Pats, or Cowboys, by 4 p.m. he goes on the IR, and is done with the Lions. Even if they get a 7th round pick from Dallas which could be the last pick- it is still better than nothing. This is the stupidity of the Lions. They are out there probably trying to get high draft picks for Kitna, when he is a slouch. They probably feel like they don't want another team to get better, when it doesn't matter, because the Lions are going 2-14 or worse this year. The other dumb thing is the Cowboys wanted Roy Williams but Millen said no. Now Millen is gone, Roy is dropping passes like its the new fad and they arent making moves. Fucking trade him and kitna for two draft picks, save the cap room and start over. You already have a franchise reciever in Calvin. A good running back in Kevin Smith, a good linebacker with Ernie Simms and good specialists. A decent backup QB in Stanton. Everyone else should be on the table. Everyone. Get rid of everyone for draft picks, call up Dom Capers, start signing some veterans and rebuild.

 

I am honestly so mad about this. They need to get rid of everyone, all the "TAMPA TWO" guys who blow, all the shitty lineman like Jeff Backus. The piss poor defenders. Mike Furrey and Shaun McDonald because they blow when Martz isn't around. Anyone who can return kicks better than Brandon Middleton who just runs into people. Some back up running backs who aren't always hurt-brian calhoun I'm looking at you. They need to cut Aveion Caseon for good. And I guess keep Rudi, maybe. He's alright.

 

The Lions suck, have sucked and will suck until they gut that franchise and bring in a real GM.
