God damn but the Bears have employed some shitty QBs.

Fuck that. If it wasn't going to be Don Majkowski, Bob Avellini is the right choice.

And Dan Pastorini great? Or Ron Jaworski? That's massively debatable.

I was really expecting a Ben Roethlisberger joke. What a wasted opportunity.

Dammit. I got 22 out of 28 without cheating. I missed Steve Walsh, Chad Hutchinson, Jonathan Quinn, Rick Mirer, Mike Hohensee and Steve Bradley. I almost don't count the last two because they were scabs, weren't they?

I cannot believe Henry Burris and Will Furrer actually started a game in the NFL. I remembered Burris because he mopped up in a game I covered once and I think Furrer's start came on Thanksgiving.

I cannot believe Craig Krenzel started five games and Peter Tom Willis three.

    What a cavalcade of suck.

They were both certainly much better than anyone the Bears have employed at the position in the last 35 years. ...er, 40 years. ...uh, 45 years. ...um, 50 years?

You have to be actively seeking shitty QBs to put together a collection of suck like this.

Hey, Avellini brought 'em to the playoffs in '77.

Of course, there also was some running back they had at the time ...
