The funny thing about Welker was that he took just two years for $12 million to sign with Denver. All things considered, that could have been money well spent by the Patriots. Instead, they tried replacing him with Danny Amendola, and it won't be until 2016 that they can release him and gain more cap space than a dead money hit.

 

Speaking of Peyton Manning, the next touchdown pass he throws will give him 500 for his career.
