The funny thing about Welker was that he took just two years for $12 million to sign with Denver. All things considered, that could have been money well spent by the Patriots. Instead, they tried replacing him with Danny Amendola, and it won't be until 2016 that they can release him and gain more cap space than a dead money hit.

Speaking of Peyton Manning, the next touchdown pass he throws will give him 500 for his career.

Steak- I think Wade has coaching talent, at least as a coordinator.
Sparano coached one freak one-and-done playoff team.
He is as fresh as the Wildcat.

It used to be he didn't need that. In his Super Bowl-winning days, Brady regularly made chicken salad out of the chicken droppings that made up his receiving corps.

If you want to confirm Brady's greatness, go back and check out how he fared while throwing to the Troy Browns, Deion Branches, David Pattens and David Givenses of the world.

I meant in terms of his propensity to wind up as an interim head coach.

Either Chargers game or at St. Louis. A week 17 matchup featuring the 0-15 Raiders desperate for a win and the Broncos 2nd teamers could actually be kind of watchable.

The Buffalo game at home doesn't look like an automatic loss, either.

I think they get two wins.
