As you said, the losses to the USFL watered down the top of that draft. Still some damn good players in the first round, including Irving Fryar, Carl Banks and Wilber Marshall.

A little warm milk and a soft couch and Barnwell's writing will put you out like a light.

Maybe this belongs on the Ray Rice video thread, but we addressed the Steelers' decision to re-sign James Harrison on the running thread, so I'll post it here. Just a reminder of how badly the Steelers handled the domestic violence accusation against Harrison in 2008.

C'mon, if it happened before 2014 and wasn't on video, it couldn't have been that bad.

The first two Thursday night pregame shows focused heavily on the domestic violence issue. Tonight, they start off by talking about the Redskins nickname controversy.
Can we please just get some fucking football with our football games!?
When did the NFL Today become the Social Justice Hour with James Brown and Deion Sanders?

Lots of pussy personal foul calls in the NFL, it's a weak league

    What the fuck, Cousins?

But this might make things more fun. A clean decision to snub RG3 wouldn't cause much trouble except in his house. A messy decision is going to make for full Snyderama.

Observation: These Thursday games have provided a lot of really bad football so far this season.

Cousins has been disowned by Redskins fans on social media. The reality is that neither one is THE ANSWER. But the rest of us get at least a couple more years of enjoyable drama. Maybe the Redskins go 2-14, get the first pick and trade it because they're tied to the RG3 albatross.

The next game is against Seattle, with Jon Gruden in the house.

That's going to be a tire fire.

Tennessee-Dallas-Minnesota-Tampa Bay coming up. If Cousins is still struggling then, his run as Super Backup is over.
