No way any team is giving up a first-rounder for a veteran with his running style.

    Giants-Redskins: Cousins outduels Eli.

Packers-Bears: Neither offense has yet to play four good quarters, but I'll take the Pack in a shootout and hope I'm wrong.

    Bills-Texans: J.J. Watt.

    Titans-Colts: Andrew Luck.

Panthers-Ravens: Want to see Smith score three TDs, talk a bunch of shit and lose to his former team. This one should be ugly.

Lions-Jets: This the type of game that the Jets have no business winning but will.

Bucs-Steelers: Tampa is better off with Glennon, but Lovie's team is a mess.

Dolphins-Raiders: Nice FU to London with this matchup.

Jaguars-Chargers: Rivers and the defense will ruin Bortles' starting debut.

Falcons-Vikings: Ryan and Jones will ruin Bridgewater's starting début.

Eagles-Niners: Must-win game for the home team?

Saints-Cowboys: When will DeMarco Murray get hurt?

Patriots-Chiefs: Kansas City has the better QB and better offense right now.

Nobody even wants to draft a running back in the first round anymore.

I think the Giants finally got some mojo and will carry it over. NY by 2 TDs.

Patriots-Dolphins season opener in 1992 was postponed due to Hurricane Andrew.

Teams are having too much success finding quality running backs later in the draft. It wasn't much of a secret that the Steelers really liked Le'Veon Bell last year, but they were able to wait until the second round. He made an impact as a rookie and he is currently second in the league in rushing. Eddie Lacy was the back most people thought would go first, but the Packers got him late in the second and he has been an impact player.

Bill Barnwell writes about the top 10 players taken in the 2011 NFL draft.

If it wasn't for Andrew Luck and Luke Kuechly, we might have a candidate for worst top 10 of a draft ever.

Seahawks would jump all over that.

This will be his last year in Seattle

1984 was pretty bad, with the caveat that that was the year the USFL had pilfered many of the guys who would have gone in the Top 10 (Reggie White, Steve Young, Herschel Walker, Gary Zimmerman, etc.).

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1984_NFL_draft

Still, not a single Hall of Famer from the regular draft.
