Any answer to a question that has the word "hypotenuse" in it is usually the correct answer.

Last week, Ryan Shazier showed everybody why the Steelers took him in the first round of the 2015 draft. He was dominant against the 49ers. Now he is showing why he has been a disappointment. He will miss Sunday's game against the Rams with a shoulder injury. He just can't stay on the field.

Even with Bell's return, this could be a tough one. The Rams have the defensive front to generate the kind of pressure Roethlisberger hasn't seen so far this season.

  5. I saw that yesterday.
You think Tomlin intentionally, under-reported Shazier's non-significant shoulder?
When he came off the field it looked like more than a stinger. With his shoulder in a sling, it won't surprise me if fails to play next week or the week after.

An NFL head coach downplaying an injury? Unpossible!

More seriously, I hope you are wrong about that, but it does seem like this is more than a one-week injury. They really have done a nice job rebuilding the front seven, but they really need Shazier out there to make it work. His speed just gives them options that won't be there with Spence or Williams on the field. They might have gone with more 4-3 looks, but McCullers is also out this week.

  7. The short week won't help.

Rams are very capable of winning today... Tavon on special teams and against that secondary? Gurley to make his debut, though they have a young, inexperienced front line. They have a great front four, so the O-line is going to be tested.
If this game comes down to Scobee's leg, we are prolly screwed.

The Rams can't keep up with the Steelers. 31-19.

  10. The Steelers Ramas as the marquis 1 pm game doesn't say much for CBS early game slate.

It's not enough that they're leaving for L.A., now Kroenke is trying to torch the place for the insurance money too?
