Should I remind y'all again that this comes a year after an 11-5 record was not good enough to get the Patriots into the playoffs? That is a .688 winning percentage. The 103-victory Yankees led MLB with a .636 winning percentage in 2009. It's not like there has been an overwhelming trend of .500 teams making the NFL playoffs. It has happened six times in league history, most recently in 2004 (Rams and Vikings).

Joey Galloway's quest for 700 career receptions continues. (I don't want to hear it. Yahoo has it among its top sports stories). Actually, the more interesting part to me is what the heck is going on with Limas Sweed, who really hasn't done much other than drop passes since the Steelers took him in the second round a year go. They put him on IR with "non-football related illness," and Mike Tomlin said something in his weekly press conference about Sweed dealing with personal issues. What a waste of a 2nd-round pick.

These jerkoffs would like to see Usain Bolt run 90 meters while everyone else has to cover 100.... or have Phelps swim three laps instead of four

Junior, when you have one-hundredth to offer compared to him, then you can sit at the adult table.
