More inconsistency by the NFL in its handling of this type of hit. Multiple offenders are supposed to eventually face suspension. Backing off after suspending him makes it even worse.

The Redskins treat opposing fans pretty well. It's their own fans they shit on.

Sorry you can't accept the reality that there were quite a few assholes in the crowd at RFK, as there are in most NFL stadiums.

I was not involved in any of those situations. I never went into RFK rooting for the other team.

Harbaugh sticking with Alex Smith is the safe play but Harbaugh has shown in his 18 mos. that he's not about the safe play but the play that is best for the team in the long run. He knew that he could not start Kaep immediately as a rookie and risk alienating the defense/team having to try to become an "elite" defense while having to overcome mistakes and turnovers.

Now though, with Kaep's performance against a fearsome D, on a big stage, Harbaugh's got a much better idea of what the Kaep option means, its not pure speculation anymore, its real. Yes one game does not make a season/career, but its not like Kaep was throwing 6 yd hitches and getting 40 yds after the catch; those were well thrown long balls, balls that Smith does not execute, against quality players who were in solid position.

Plaxico Burress finally found a team, and a familiar one at that. The Steelers signed him today. Amazing what a desperate need will do. Antonio Brown and Jerricho Cotchery are both expected to miss Sunday's game against Cleveland.

They also signed Jared Hoyer to back up Charlie Batch Sunday.

This team needs flak jackets. Roethlisberger, Leftwich and Cotchery all out with rib injuries.

If RGIII turns the Skins into a legit Super Bowl contender, which I think he will in a couple of seasons, this area is going to go batshit crazy.

That has nothing to do with people kicking your ass at a game.
