NFL to Fans: Leave Your Bag and Seat Cushion at Home

    1) This is old news.

    2) If you're dumb enough to go to an NFL game, you deserve what you get.

    1.) I think it's been recommended by the NFL in the past, but at least in Chicago, they are getting stricter in the enforcement.

    2.) True.

    It's just silly. If a woman can bring a normal sized purse to the movies, or a concert, there's no reason she shouldn't be able to bring it to a Bears game.

    If anything, the NFL should be trying to broaden its appeal to women, not give them a reason not to come to a game. And, the game day environment would be improved by adding more women into the mix of fans.

    No, this is a policy implemented league-wide by the NFL a few months ago.
