Is there anything in sports more inconsequential then the Pro Bowl?

    I felt like it.

Plus, I might post my votes, if I can remember what they were.

Why not start it now? Start some debate before the selections are released. And I know the game is crap, but the selections can be interesting.

I hate that they do the voting so early. It's just silly. No reason at all they can't do it the final week of the season. You are basically sending the players who had the best first 12 weeks of the season.

One guy that could hurt is Willie Parker of the Steelers. He should be the third running back in the AFC after Tomlinson or Johnson (I wrote that earlier in the Week 15 thread), but his strong performance against Carolina Sunday probably came to late to help.

I'd hardly shed a tear if I woke up tomorrow and this thread had disappeared. I just thought people might want to discuss the Pro Bowl picks before they're announced.

I voted for Parker as the 3rd RB in the AFC.

Good point. I have no discussion to add, other than Hester better make it.

    NHL All-Star Game...
    NBA All-Star Game...
    Preseason in any sport...

Meanwhile, a nation awaits the news while stifling yawns...

    Grossman, definitely.

    Oh, and Michael Vick, too.

Actually, who goes as the NFC QB besides Brees?
