Brady used to talk about it in an idly speculative way, but hasn't for quite some time, over five years I think.

I wonder if that coincides with when he married Gisele.

 

I don't think it was because of Gisele, I think somewhere along the way he just made the determination that saying or doing anything remotely interesting was a bad play. It's a wise decision.

 

Actually, I think Brady's seminal attitude change event was missing 2008 with the knee injury. Before that, he'd have the occasional public daydream about a variety of career options beyond football. Since then, he makes it sound as if they'll have to wrench the helmet off to lower him into the casket.

 

He doesn't seem extraordinarily perceptive. He'd make a good legislator.

And Roger Goodell needs to hire new PR lackeys. The league's getting hammered on this on some boards, as well it should.
