In my mind it will just make things more amusing when the Seahawks win.

Weren't the Patriots up 28 points before the Dolphins started "outplaying them?"

I hope you are right, but I doubt it.

Obviously, the Patriots could easily win each game coming up by 1 point and they are indisputably the greatest team who ever lived at 19-0.

If they don't have a game where the margin ends up at fewer than 10 points, I will be surprised.

Bucs 24, Giants 13 -- As well as the Giants played on Saturday, that's been their M.O. for several years: play (and coach) well when the expectations are off, play (and coach) like crap when the expectations are high. Since the Giants are more talented than the Bucs and will be expected by many to win, I see another Eli & Coughlin-led stinker coming on Sunday.

Seahawks 21, Redskins 10 -- The Seahawks aren't exactly a juggernaut, but it's a lot to ask of the Redskins to travel all that way on a short week and win, especially since they had to invest a lot physically and emotionally just to make the playoffs.

Cowboys 20, Bucs 7 -- Tony Romo has once again not played very well down the stretch, which will help Tampa's D. But the Bucs don't have the offense to take advantage of staying close.

Packers 38, Seahawks 14 -- The mismatch of the NFC playoffs. Hasselbeck won't have to worry about any overtime guarantees in this one.

Packers 36, Cowboys 21 -- Brett Favre finally conquers his Texas Stadium demons, wills the Pack back to the Big Game, and breaks down sobbing during his postgame interview with Pam Oliver.

I think that the Cowboy offense is toast without TO.

And he will not play in that game.

If he does, he will only be a walking decoy.

So much yummy yumminess to respond to, I don't know where to start.

Dallas is a pro town full of fail right now.

Mavericks: Gacked a 2-0 series lead and a 10-point lead in the final 3 minutes of Game 3 against the Heat, then won 67 games and gacked against the stinking Warriors in the first round.

Stars: Haven't gotten out of the first round since 2003. (And Dave Tippett is still employed somehow.)

Rangers: They are what they are.

Cowboys: Have won one playoff game since their last Super Bowl. That was 12 years ago.

Form holds in the NFC playoffs.

    Wild Card:
Redskins over Seahawks — Skins have plenty of emotion in store.
Bucs over Giants — Defense rattles Eli.

    Division:
Redskins over Cowboys — Hard to beat a team 3 times in the NFL, plus T.O. injury and history of fail on several fronts.
Packers over Bucs — Check the thermometer.

    Championship:
Packers over Redskins — The clock strikes midnight. Plus check the thermometer.

Don't feel like going back to dig up who said it, but the Packers are one-dimensional? Really?

They're 21st in the league running it, the worst of the playoff teams. One spot behind the Seahawks, three behind the Colts.

Grant had 956 yards rushing on 188 attempts; 5.1 yards a carry. That was in, essentially NINE games.

Packers will win the NFC BECAUSE of their running game, not in spite of it.

Green Bay to top New England in the Super Bowl.
    ---------
Giants will win over Tampa early on.
And Pack will likely face Dallas in the NFC finals
