A couple years ago, Gingrich decided he was going to sink or swim by hitching his cart to the religious right.

As he prepares to throw his hat in the 2012 ring officially, he sure isn't altering that strategy:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/27/us/politics/27newt-gingrich.html?_r=1&hp

“In America, religious belief is being challenged by a cultural elite trying to create a secularized America, in which God is driven out of public life.”

Quotes like that seem almost like an anachronism in 2011, a time when Republicans, for example, barely reacted to the big news on DOMA this week.

Quixotic. His chance of getting the nomination is near zero.

His conversion to Catholicism isn't going to play especially-well with the Evangie base.

Huckabee has a better card to play, actually, though he's unlikely to get the top spot, either. He'll do anything to deny Romney the lead role, and given his base, he could have a measure of influence on who gets it, and he could
be handed the VP nom as a result.

I'll bet he gives great crying lessons.

If you just glance at that photo, it looks like it says "FAG" in the lower right corner.

I'm sorry, but I just have a real problem with people who seem to be looking for any bullshit reason they can find to remove a duly elected President from office.

I agree, except in cases where the President breaks the law (Richard Nixon in Watergate, Bill Clinton in the Lewinsky Scandal). I can't think of any reason as to why Obama could be removed from office, although I'm sure some people can come up with hundreds of reasons.
