    Newsweek: $18.95 for 54 issues or Time: $16.00 for 28 issues. Please discuss. I've purchased both in the past, but really I only need one since there are many stories duplicated by both. You make the call.

    I recently let a (gift) subscription to Newsweek lapse because I just didn't think the magazine was that well done. Time has got to be a better publication, though I haven't read an issue in about a year.

    Just subscribe to Esquire.

    may I write in Playboy? I actually read it for the articles (if you've seen one set of made up tits, you've seen 'em all) and other features (fiction, advisor, etc.).

    $24 for 24 issues.

    I want something that's strictly news. And I already subscribe to Esquire.

    I'm not looking for other magazines. I already have a subscription to Sports Illustrated, Esquire and a few others. I'm just looking to choose from those two.

    Playboy has articles? Since when?

    I often have the same problem trying to decide between Club and Swank.

  8. You get basically the same essential product in either one, but NEWSWEEK strikes me as a little more lively and better written.

    I subscribe to Time, by girlfriend to Newsweek. They're both fine.

    But what fun would that be if I didn't solicit opinions?

    I've read both on occassion, but I've never had a subscription. I'm looking for people who have received both or one on a regular basis. It's hard to tell just by looking at one every six months.

    Swank in a landslide. ::)

  12. I get both, but prefer Newsweek ... Better writing on the whole.
