    No wonder it was sold for a dollar. And Winston Ross is a huge a-hole, even by our gutter standards. And after you slog to the end, you are rewarded with this:

    "Her best friend had died in the wreck and suffered severe brain damage and physical trauma from which she has yet to fully recover."

    It's a cliche but the most shocking thing about this story is that not only Newsweek is still around, they have the money to send someone to the French Alps.

    Did he cut the part where he shared a ride with the photog from Life, and swapped notes with the stringer from the New York Herald Tribune?
