Well, there is a reason he wasn't promoted when the head tech position came open. The new tech guy just comes over and fixes the problem, no questions asked.

Get rid of all the video ads and fucking video news stories. Generally, I hate video news on the net.

YouTube is a blast, but I can do without video- ads or editorial content- on sites like Yahoo as well as news sites.

We can keep the video porn though, right?

As long as it's videos of women, with no dudes on camera.

This begs the question: Could you live without the internet?

I could probably manage. I still have plenty of VHS/DVD porn lying around the house.

Well, sure, as long as I can order some DVDs before it all crashes.

What worries me the most is all the financial info floating around out there amongst the various banks. Even though you write a check for rent, the banks still process everything and move money through digital transfers. They're not mailing bundles of cash to each other. But somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

A-fucking-men. Everytime I click on a Yahoo "news" story and it sends me to a video, I exit and go read it somewhere else.

As do I. As do many others, I'm sure. I wonder if the guy who compiles their web "metrics" has the numbers on how many people who open a video watch it to the end...and how many close the window after a couple of seconds.
