The Trentonian used to run pictures of bikini-clad women every Monday, in full color, across the two middle pages of the paper. As a lonely teenager who would've gotten turned down at a whorehouse, it was like getting Playboy for a quarter.

We just got our first gentleman's club ad to run in the sports section. They said business picked up.

Actually, I think you may be wrong about that.

The glut of free product has really hurt the "prestige" purveyors. Seems to be the "porn industry" was, at one point, hoping for a piece of the bailout.

Yep. I heard some porn star on Howard Stern (don't judge me, I was in a rental car that had Sirius and I was trying to stay awake) saying that the porn industry had taken a HUGE hit. She was getting like half the money per scene that she used to --- and she wasn't working nearly as much --- because of the free sites.

    Sad times all around.

Pretty ironic that a porn star is complaining about not being able to get laid.

She wasn't complaining about not being able to get laid, she was compainling about not being able to get paid.

The Internet is killing the porn industry as well.

I think every newspaper ran that in Sunday's paper. It was the J.C. Penney insert.

Porn is cheaper to produce, and Mizzou is correct.
