    And yet football makes Benjamins for schools and basketball makes Jeffersons. So I'm not sure I'd give a shit if I were Auburn's AD.

    Except for the fact there are possible scenarios where both programs generate a lot of revenue. Put Auburn in Nike uniforms and it doesn't hurt the football program and possibly helps the basketball program.

    It's interesting, since switching to Under Armour the once-proud Maryland basketball program hasn't been past the NCAA second round, gone to the NIT twice and missed the postseason all together three times. You kinda have to wonder how Turgeon could do much better at Texas A&M than Maryland, a school with 100 times more tradition and seemingly more advantages.
