New season of "Serial" out Sept. 20

Any thoughts on Season 3 so far?

I'm enjoying it. Episode 2 with the judge was pretty infuriating.

 

I listened to both episodes Saturday and really enjoyed them. This is a great rebound from the snoozer that was season two.

 

By the way, Cleveland.com has posted the surveillance footage mentioned in the first episode: Serial Season 3, Episode 1 recap, videos: Anna and the bar fight - Shocked the guy didn't get arrested.

 

So far this seems right. I’m disappointed that after all this time, it’s not a single story.
Not nearly as disappointing as season 3 of more perfect though.

 

I listened to the first 2 episodes. While very well done and infuriating, I wonder if it will be a little repetitive.

 

Definitely not an issue that everyone has, but for me, it feels a bit like retreaded material because 1) I did a cops and courts beat for two years and 2) John Oliver has had like 3 or 4 different segments on things covered by the podcast.
