New NBA defensive technique: wet willie

Delonte West got a technical last night for giving one (or trying to, the video is unclear as to whether he succeeded) to Gordon Hayward.

"He had some lint in his hair," West said.

LeBron James shudders to think what was going on a few years ago that he doesn't even know about.

How can it be a Wet Willie if Delonte didn't lick his finger first?

 

Delonte West has serious mental issues. He may end up killing someone and we will all ask why someone didn't do something.

 

Nice hyperbole from the announcers.
"He should be thrown out of the game immediately!"

Really? A technical was definitely in order, maybe even a small fine, but hardly an ejection.

 

He's really a sweet kid but yes, he could use some couch time.

 

I agree with the announcers. He should have been tossed.

 

I'd rather be punched in the face than have someone give me a wet willie.
