New jerseys for the NHL (and New Jersey)

The new sweaters--never will I call them jerseys--are going to suck for the goalies. The typical goalie wears a size 60, due to the oversized pads. Starting next season, they'll wear 72s.

    wrong...

Maurice Richard would have come back from the dead and Wayne Gretzky would have come out of retirement and moved to wing.

    Febreze works wonders.

When all three of my kids played hockey, the basement smelled like decomposing corpses before they came out with this stuff.

My time covering hockey ended right at the beginning of the Febreze revolution, but I eventually got tired of that smell, too. When you have to tip 55-gallon drums of it over in the rooms, it's just too overpowering. And I think I'd rather take my chances with good ol' fashioned stank than swimming in God knows what chemicals.
