I'm fairly certain I'm not the only writer who writes on yellow paper... The event in question was a pretty long time ago, so I think I'm reasonably safe... :)

Once again, congrats to Gene. Congrats to the TU.

Here's what I love about Mizzou: He spends six grafs or so, talking about what an annoying guy Frenette is, how it's impossible to work next to him...then follows with "Congrats to him, congrats to the paper."

    Fantastic.

When and why did the JN move Carpiniello off the Rangers?

I understand they are no longer travelling with the Rangers and perhaps other NY temas as well

I was at their site yesterday and the ran AP for Saturday's Rangers-Leafs game. Looks like they're heavily going local.

Well, Frenette is annoying. Hard to dispute that.

I think "going local" is Gannett-speak for "to cheap to travel"

Chrissake, since the team practices about a stone's throw from the newspaper, how local is local? That's pretty sorry.

My wife grew up in Bronxville and they called that paper the Urinal-News.
