For anyone who has moved to a new job (all of us!), read this story and tell us if you'd do this ...

My first thought was I wouldn't show up my first day drenched in sweat.

Well, I'm starting a new job Monday, but I am damned sure not going to cycle from here to there. (Ninety miles, much of it on the Natchez Trace? I'll pass.)

  4. He must have REALLY wanted that job! ;D

i wouldn't do it, but it's a great idea. not for everyone, of course.

my only beef is that he should have written the story himself (i saw someone posted his blog) but why have a reporter write it? what's wrong with using first person in this case?
