Never Miss a Super Bowl Club loses a member

Bob Cook, one of the four guys featured in the Visa ad campaign, died recently. He was a huge Packers fan, but didn't go to this year's game because he fell ill days before. He did see the game on TV, though.

What a bummer. These sound like four really neat guys.

I saw that story the day before the game, figured he must be in bad shape if he was missing this year's game...

RIP...

 

I wonder if that other guy is going to go to his funeral. Probably not, what with the scouting combine coming up in a couple of weeks.

One of the surviving three, Don Crisman, is from here in Kennebunk. He actually interviewed me. He was my census taker.

 

Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.

 

Lamar Hunt's wife is another member of the club not in the commercial, but she has been given tickets for lifetime as a dying wish. Same thing with the Super Bowl groundskeeper George Toma I believe...

 

But our deepest condolences nonetheless ...
