She says the pix are art. The school district says they violate the "high moral standard" that teachers in the public school system must be judged by and wants her teaching certificate revoked.

Apparently the Bush twins attended this particular high school. Just saying.

How effective is a high school teacher going to be when her students are likely to have seen her naked? Just asking.

    Oh, and TTIUWP

How are they defining partner here? art partner? life partner?

Based on this paragraph from the story, I'm betting it's life partner:

Hundreds of photos of Hoover were part of partner Celesta Danger's online documentary of their lives together.

It's her life partner. Some of those commenting on the story have expressed concern that might explain the action taken, which does seem over the top considering she is an art teacher and they weren't porn type photos.

I think it's her partner in a carpet cleaning business ;)

Wouldn't common sense come into play at some point in this teacher's life? I mean, you're in a position where you have to be above and beyond any moral standards, and yet there are nude pictures of you online. I'm not debating the merits of the photos, but, geez, get a clue and realize that something like that could come back to bite you in the ass. Sure, it's not fair, but different rules apply when you have the attention of adolescents. And think of it this way: Would you want your 14-year-old niece to see naked photos of her male art teacher? Not damn likely.
