    The Neo-cons are, if you think about it, socialists wearing different clothing. They advocate that which in theory sounds just, but which in practice does not work. It seems ironic, doesn't it?

    Not at all, if you track their ideological forebears, like the guys in Chicago. Most of them came out of the hard-left ideological battles of the late 1930s and 1940s. They had their conversion moments, but theire basic approach to things hasn't changed.
