When I first saw this thread, my first thought was, "how cool is it that Neil Young is opening for Wilco"

Death Cab is opening on some other dates, according to Pitchfork. Man, what a show either one of those would be. I've seen Wilco and DCFC, but never Neil Young. I don;t think he;s going to be very close to me though.

Jay, there really is no way you should like Wilco. What with the bitterness and all of the Uncle Tupelo breakup.

Jay, drive to Columbia and I'll drive the rest of the way to Chicago. Pay you back for last year's hospitality. Hell, I even have a buddy we can stay with in Chicago.

Neil is generally very good live.

I've heard the same about Wilco.

Can only vouch for Neil my own self.

Seen Neil Young twice, Wilco six times.

    Both are tremendous live.

Outstanding. By then, I'll be living close to one of these shows. Have seen Wilco and DCFC, but never my favorite crazy neighbor. I'll be there. Thanks for posting.

Young and DCFC will be playing in Southern California on Oct. 29 (San Diego State's arena) and Oct. 30 at The Forum in L.A.
