Need your help

Hi,

We are starting a sports newspaper in Southern California and wanted to know if you guys and girls would like to help us out.

We are developing a beta issue and wanted to send it to a few professional sports journalists in the US and see what they thought about it.

What did they like about the paper.
What did they hate about the paper.
What can we do better?

So I ask all of you to please help us out. Post here and or send me a message.
Any help and or comments you can give of the product would be really helpful.

Let me be the first to say, WTF is a beta issue?

 

It's like a beta-test for technology products. They'll run one issue, see how it tests and what people like, don't like and then come back with a finished product.

Thank you for your response. Yeah a beta issue is used more in technology then in the newspaper business. But we wanted to make sure we did it right before we printed 20.000 issues.

I will make sure to send all of you a PM with a link to the PDF version by the end of next week.

I wanted to post a message here to say thank you to everyone that wants to help make sure the Sports Journal is a newspaper that people will read and respect.

In the PM that will be sent to all of you in the next week or so, will have a url to the beta/dummy issue and I would like to know if everyone still wants to help out after issue 1 becomes vailable?
