If he's capable of avoiding trouble off the field, Bobby Petrino could win big at Texas.

UCLA has played in Lincoln twice in the past 30 seasons, the previous time was 19 years ago. I'm not sure there's any trend of UCLA laying eggs at Nebraska is going to matter in this game.

Michigan's not just scheduling any MAC school, they've got Akron! The Zips have three one-win seasons in a row, having last defeated FBS opposition in the 2010 season finale.

The Mighty Chippewas are at UNLV in what I'm sure is probably within the 800 most interesting things to do in Las Vegas this Saturday.

OOPS. -21 was what I meant, and that was obvi too low.

I better leave the plus-minus to the hockey thread.

Now that might be the game of the weekend. Very interested to see how good each team really is. Arizona State beat up Sacramento State 55-0. Wisconsin has beaten UMass and Tennessee Tech by a combined score of 93-0. I will say Wisconsin might have the best running back tandem in the country and that Badgers defense should again be a top-20 defense. And Taylor Kelly, for Arizona State, can definitely sling it and the Devils have a deep receiving corps.

An associate of mine, who is a Tennessee alum, believes this should be made into a stencil and made available to college and pro teams across the US (and presumably Canada).

Good piece on how Manziel should embrase his heel image. I agree. I also wish Tiger would have done that a couple years ago. The level of outrage and outright anger JFF elicits from people is hilarious. For that reason, among others, I hope A&M beats Bama by 3 TDs.

I agree and I think Manziel pretty much already embraces it. This particular A&M team might do well to embrace it as a whole and be like Miami or UNLV hoops in their heydays. I also agree it would have been better for Tiger Woods as a golfer to just say fuck it and not worry what anybody thought.
