NCAA lowers boom on Mizzou

    Football, baseball and softball hit with penalties, including recruiting restrictions for football, in academic fraud case. With the football penalties, that's going to make Barry Odom's job that much harder — and it's hard enough at Mizzou as it is.

    Missouri will appeal, the sports media will support that appeal, and almost all of the penalties will be overturned when the NCAA gets major blowback.

    Mizzou has officially become the SEC's Cleveland State...there's really no other explanation.

    Missouri cooperated because it had no real choice. The tutor admitted to Missouri what she did, then later threatened to tell all on Twitter. There wasn't any kind of witness grooming Missouri was going to be able to do.
