NCAA Division II playoff slugfest

I was listening to ESPN Radio today and they were talking about how a bunch of Abilene Christian players, with three seconds left in the game, decided to lateral the kickoff return in an attempt to get 100 points.

It was not condoned by the coaches, but instead orchestrated by the players.

Normally, I'm not a big fan of sportsmanship, and I'm the kind of guy who giggles at the idea of 100 points in a college football game. But for goodness' sake, think of the writers.

 

So I guess Ryan Leaf's leave of absence didn't help.
