I'm going to go out away from the majority here - I'd rather have Gus Johnson doing a game than Enberg. I think he died a decade ago and CBS just keeps trotting him out there, "Weekend At Bernie's"-style.

I think I might have been crazy enough to have chosen VCU for this game. I remember Doc saying, "You'll either look really stupid or really smart for that choice."

Beginning of this game, I thoght I was going to look stupid. Now, I don't know what's going to happen.

 

Because it's such an easy proposition. I bet Field's legs felt like marble statues...

Not an excuse.

No chance. Gus sounded like Brent Musburger all day. Absolutely horrible. Yelling. Making it about him. Glad he's done. He's horrible.

 

I'd rather have Gus and Brent than James Brown....Geez, he's terrible..

 

At least he wasn't bringing up the point spread every other possession like Brent.

 

And you know what? That's why it's an OPINION - you're entitled to yours, I am to mine.

You dislike Johnson, I dislike Enberg (and Kevin Harlan, and Ian Eagle, and Jim Nantz....). The best, though, will always be Verne Lundquist working with Bill Raftery.

 

Announcers aside (Gus and James are horrible), what a great day of games.
