NBC to send Conan packing? WTF?

Okay. I think we can all agree on esteem for Jon Stewart. But to keep Leno on and pay Conan to go away? W...T...F? Can a network really be as screwed up as this?

Remember, this is the same network that thought Leno is better than Letterman.
Twice in a row the network has totally messed up the Tonight Show situation.

 

Jon's humor works better on Comedy Central, plus he can keep recruiting future members of the Democratic Party with the Daily Show... lol

WTF?? You all but told Leno he was done in 2009 and he stepped aside willingly because he didn't want to put Conan through the same thing he went through. If this rumor is true, I hope ABC steps in and offers Conan 11:30. Either that or if Letterman steps down, Conan could always go to CBS. Deja vu?

 

I think Letterman is wrapped up through at least 2011.

I think that would be a huge mistake ... but as was written earlier, typical NBC

 

I don't think Stewart will leave Comedy Central...

 

Conan's comedy would change going to 11:30. I say stay at 12:30, please.

 

Call me crazy, but Jimmy Kimmell's show has surpassed Letterman...

Snuff videos are funnier than Leno...

What's there to gain for Stewart?

He leaves Comedy Central, bombs, then where?

Yes, he'll have a golden parachute, but do you think he wants to go back to hosting that crappy videos show on MTV or doing standup?

His image is perfect now. Totally anti-establishment. He goes to NBC, that changes, and in a hurry.
