NBC is taking their show "The Marriage Ref" and putting a special episode on after tonight's closing ceremonies. This almost seems like as bad of a decision as CBS putting the Undercover Boss show on after the Super Bowl. What say you?

Why would that be a bad idea? They'll have a large audience watching the closing ceremonies (why, I have no idea) and they're hoping a portion of that audience will stick around and check out the new show. I don't see the problem here.

And the show looks like it could be quite funny.

What are they supposed to put on? A two-hour retrospective on the games?

I guess I don't think the show will be that good.

Putting on a show geared toward women following the Olympics? OK.

Putting on a show geared toward women in a time slot that'll be occupied by Sunday Night Football for the better part of six months? Fail.

CBS actually did pretty well debuting Undercover Boss after the Super Bowl. Those post-special event timeslots aren't about necessarily slotting "good" shows - it's about what show you can promote to death because it has a good marketing hook.

I only get NBC so it might be a nice change of pace from the Olympics.

See if you can spot Kelly Ripa's tattoo.

I wouldn't watch that show if you paid me.
Bullshit show, from what I can see in the trailers.

Well, it's a case of passing the torch from Shatner to Baldwin.

Taxidermy & family pets - switched off in first 3 minutes. Not funny.
